SAGINAW, Mich.- Team One Credit Union has broken ground for its new corporate office.
The new office will be located in downtown Saginaw along Hayden Street just west of Warren Avenue. The facility is expected to cover 28,000 square feet, according to WJRT.
The three-story building will employ about 70 people. Additionally, a community center of will be included in the project, the report stated.
Additional Purpose
“This building will have another purpose to serve as a community hub,” CEO Derrick Barber said in a statement. “This building will have 2,400 square feet, approximately 30 percent of the ground floor, dedicated to a space where community members can come to learn, gather, to collaborate and certainly to celebrate things that are important to them.”
An estimate of when the new building will be completed has not been announced.
The $764-million credit union has approximately 48,000 members.
