WOODFIELD, Ohio– Ohio — Tellers at a bank here were surprised last week when a baggie containing a crystal-like substance, consistent with methamphetamine, was sent through the drive-thru air tube.

An investigation revealed that 46-year-old Jason G. Smith, of Woodsfield, unknowingly sent the substance during a banking transaction, WTOV reported.
Smith was later located in Wayne Township by Ohio Department of Natural Resources officers.
Deputies, with assistance from K9 Max, recovered additional suspected drugs and drug-related items from Smith’s truck, WTOV added.
Smith was arrested and transported to the Monroe County Jail, according to the report.
