EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union has announced the appointment of Kristi Fox and Kris Petersen as Associate Board Members.
Fox and Petersen will serve in a non-voting capacity, contributing their insights to board and committee discussions, Royal CU said.

“This advisory role allows them to influence key initiatives and strategies without requiring election. As part of Royal’s succession planning efforts, Associate Board Members gain a deep understanding of strategic priorities through active participation in governance activities,” the credit union said.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kristi Fox and Kris Petersen to our board of directors,” said Chair Tom Huffcutt. “Their expertise and dedication will be invaluable as we continue to serve our Members and position Royal for continued success in the future.”
Fox brings 30 years of business transformation and HR leadership experience, currently serving as executive vice president, chief administrative officer at Securian Financial. In her role, she oversees human resources strategy and operations for 3,000 employees, while her board experience spans both private companies and non-profits in the financial services, mental health, and museum sectors. Fox comes with knowledge in risk management, cultural transformation, and organizational change leadership.
Petersen is senior vice president at think2perform, a leadership consulting firm. She also brings 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, having held various executive leadership roles growing businesses for Fortune 500 companies. Petersen has served on boards ranging from small nonprofits to a $1.5 billion organization, with leadership roles in Finance, Audit, and Investment Committees.
