WARREN, Ohio–7 17 Credit Union has selected Velera, the payments CUSO and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, to provide it with debit and credit card processing services and support.
The $1.8-billion credit union has more than 120,000 members served by 12 branches.

To find the right card processing partner, the organizations said 7 17 evaluated key factors, including each provider’s ability to enable long-term growth while keeping member experience top of mind. Ultimately, the credit union selected Velera for its exceptional service, operational expertise, ability to provide the best technology and solutions, and commitment to 7 17’s people-first mission.

Velera said it will begin providing debit and credit processing support to 7 17 through a phased rollout spanning Q3 of 2026.
