WESTERLY, R.I.–Andrew Rogers, who has been serving as president of Westerly Community Credit Union, has now added the CEO title. Rogers was first appointed president in July 2025.
The $506-million WCCU said Rogers brings more than 24 years of experience in the financial industry, a journey that began at WCCU as an intern during his junior year at Chariho High School. Throughout his extensive career, he has held various leadership roles providing him with a strong understanding of the credit union’s operations, mission, and unwavering commitment to the local communities, Westerly Community CU said.

“I am honored to step into this role at such an important time for our credit union,” Rogers said in a statement. “While we look forward to the opportunities ahead, our commitment to our members and the local community remains unchanged. I look forward to building upon our legacy of service, ensuring that as we move forward, we do so with the same integrity and care that our members have come to expect.”
Educational Background & Community Involvement
Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Rhode Island, has earned Certified Credit Union Executive designation, and graduated from the Credit Union Executives Society’s CEO Institute, obtaining the Certified Chief Executive designation. He is also a graduate of the 2024 Leadership Rhode Island Core program.
Rogers is also a member of the RI Credit Union Basketball Championships Committee of the Cooperative Credit Union Association; serves as the president of Trustees for the Babcock Smith House Museum in Westerly, R.I.; is a member of the board for the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce; is a past Chair of Southern RI Relay for Life, and past board member at the Ocean Community YMCA – Acadia Branch.
Rogers resides in Stonington, Connecticut, with his wife and three children.
