Achieva CU Names Jim Kreiter, Jr. as VP-Direct Lending

DUNEDIN, Fla.–– Achieva Credit Union has named Jim Kreiter, Jr. as Vice President of Direct Lending, where he will oversee strategy and growth across the credit union’s direct lending portfolio, supporting members with everything from vehicle purchases to home improvement financing.

Kreiter brings extensive experience in consumer lending, sales leadership, and portfolio growth, most recently serving in senior lending leadership roles at Pinellas Federal Credit Union and CAMPUS USA Credit Union. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining strong business results with a people-first leadership style, developing high-performing teams and delivering solutions that meet members where they are.

“I help put dreams in driveways and waterways,” said Kreiter. “For me, lending has never been just about numbers. It’s about helping people move forward, whether it’s getting into a new vehicle, financing something meaningful, or using home equity to improve their space. It’s about turning our members’ goals into something real.”

“Jim brings a unique perspective and a deep understanding of what it means to truly serve our members,” said David Germann, Chief Lending Officer at Achieva Credit Union. “He leads with authenticity, values collaboration, and understands that when we invest in our people, we’re better positioned to serve our members and our communities.”

Kreiter was drawn to Achieva’s culture, noting that its commitment to members is equally reflected in how the organization supports and empowers its employees.

“What stood out most is how genuinely Achieva lives its member-first philosophy, starting with the way it values its people,” said Kreiter. “There’s a real emphasis on listening, collaboration, and making sure employees feel heard. When you have that kind of culture, it naturally translates into a better experience for the members we serve.”
