LANSING, Mich.–Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is the featured guest in a special episode of the Michigan Credit Union League’s (MCUL) Credit Unions, Coffee & Conversation podcast, which is hosted by MCUL President & CEO Patty Corkery.
In the episode, Gov. Whitmer discusses her path into public service and reflects on leadership lessons learned throughout her career, the league reported, adding that the governor also shares advice for young professionals navigating the early stages of their careers amid rapid change in the workforce.
“The conversation touches on financial literacy and Whitmer’s recent efforts to expand financial education statewide,” the league said. “The governor also discusses her administration’s recently released Menopause Memorandum, outlining why increased awareness, education and workplace accommodations around menopause are an important issue for Michigan.”
