PHOENIX, Ariz.— OneAZ Credit Union is marking its 75th anniversary with a $750,000 investment in Arizona communities through its OneAZ Community Foundation Legacy Grant Program, the credit union said.
According to OneAZ Credit Union, the funding will be distributed as multi-year grants to five nonprofit organizations focused on leadership development and economic empowerment across the state.
“Celebrating 75 years is not just about looking back—it’s about investing forward,” President and CEO Mike Boden said in a statement. “For decades, OneAZ has been rooted in service—helping our members achieve their financial goals while strengthening the communities we call home.”
The credit union said the 2026 Legacy Grants will support community-based programs aimed at helping individuals and small businesses thrive, with funding distributed over three years to promote long-term impact.

The Grant Recipients
The grant recipients include:
Developing Future Leaders
- Be A Leader Foundation — $75,000
- NAU Foundation (T. Paul Thomas Center for Nonprofit Entrepreneurship) — $100,000
- Valle del Sol (Hispanic Leadership Institute) — $225,000
Economic Empowerment & Entrepreneurship
- Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (Capital Readiness Program & DreamBuilder) — $125,000
- Local First Arizona Foundation (Fuerza Local) — $225,000
OneAZ said the organizations were selected for their ability to expand access to education, leadership development and entrepreneurial resources, which it described as key to building a more inclusive state economy.
Additional Efforts
The anniversary initiative will also include additional efforts throughout the year, according to the credit union, including:
- Continued investments through the OneAZ Community Foundation
- Community-focused events and volunteer activities across Arizona
- Member engagement campaigns centered on financial wellness and opportunity
- Storytelling initiatives highlighting local individuals and businesses
OneAZ said the Legacy Grant Program reflects its long-standing commitment to supporting members, employees and communities across Arizona while positioning the organization for future impact.
