Acumen Financial #BrightFutures4Kids Campaign Raises Nearly $20K for CMN

LA JOLLA, Calif.—Acumen Financial Advantage said its #BrightFutures4Kids campaign has generated nearly $20,000 in donations for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals through Credit Unions for Kids, highlighting what the firm described as strong engagement from across the credit union industry.

The campaign, launched in October 2025, encourages credit union professionals and supporters to post selfies on LinkedIn using the #BrightFutures4Kids hashtag. Acumen Financial Advantage said it donates $10 to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals through Credit Unions for Kids for each tagged post, resulting in hundreds of contributions to date.

In addition to social media activity, Acumen Financial Advantage said it has donated 5% of revenue from each newly funded Charitable Donation Account and Charitable Endowment Plan opened by participating credit unions. According to the company, 23 credit unions have funded such accounts as part of the initiative, linking financial strategies to charitable giving.

“We are deeply proud of the engagement and enthusiasm this campaign has generated across the credit union industry,” Ryan Millman, principal at Acumen Financial Advantage, said in a statement. “Seeing credit union professionals nationwide step up, post their selfies, and open CDAs to benefit CMN is a true reflection of the values at the heart of this movement.”

Additional Sponsorships

Acumen Financial Advantage said its partnership with Children’s Miracle Network also includes sponsorship of industry events, including support for the CU4Kids Crew at a recent Elevate conference in Orlando, where the company said it engaged with younger credit union professionals.

The company said the campaign will continue through the end of 2026, with additional promotion tied to major industry events. It is encouraging continued participation through social media posts and by exploring charitable account offerings designed to generate ongoing support for children’s hospitals.
