ORLANDO, Fla.–More than $1 million support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia was raised during the League of Credit Unions’ ENGAGE 2026 meeting as part of its Night of Miracles Gala.
According to the League, the gala brought together 450 credit union leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening that blended celebration with purpose. The event featured live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and powerful storytelling that highlighted the impact of Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids).
Attendees connected around a shared commitment to expanding access to life-saving care and critical resources for children in their local communities, the League added.

‘Shared Purpose’
“The Night of Miracles Gala brings the credit union community together around a shared purpose that goes beyond financial services,” Denelle Miller, president and CEO of FiCare Federal Credit Union and Night of Miracles Gala chair, said in a statement. “Seeing this level of generosity and commitment in one room is what credit unions are all about and what makes this particular event so meaningful.”
The organization said that a defining moment of the evening came from Carter Harrison, this year’s Miracle Child, who was born with a complex congenital heart defect and has faced multiple medical challenges with remarkable resilience and joy. His story served as a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact that Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals have on children and families.
