Utah’s America First CU Continues its Expansion in Southern California

HIGHLAND, Calif.– America First Credit Union has expanded its Southern California footprint with the opening of a new branch in Highland, according to the credit union.

The Utah-based credit union said the branch, located at 27828 Greenspot Road, will provide a full range of consumer and business financial services, including checking and savings accounts, auto loans, mortgages, home equity loans, business banking, financial planning and investment services, along with digital banking tools and in-person assistance.

The Highland office is the latest addition to America First’s California network as it continues to grow its membership in the region.

‘Continues to Grow’

“Our membership continues to grow across Southern California, and we’re proud to expand our presence in Highland,” President and CEO Thayne Shaffer said in a statement. “We look forward to serving the community with personalized financial guidance, innovative products and a commitment to our members that has been the foundation of America First Credit Union for more than 87 years.”

According to America First, the new branch is intended to support both existing and prospective members by offering a comprehensive suite of personal and business banking services.

Grand Opening Activities

To mark the opening, the credit union said it will host grand-opening activities beginning July 13 and continuing through July 31. The celebration will include giveaways, gift cards and prize drawings, including opportunities to win an Amazon gift card and an electric mountain bike.

America First said area residents are invited to visit the branch during the promotional period to meet staff, tour the facility, learn about the credit union’s products and services, and take advantage of new-member offers.
