Silver State Schools CU Names New President and CEO

LAS VEGAS–Silver State Schools Credit Union has appointed Ralph Ramirez as president and CEO.

Ramirez, who joined the $1.3-billion Silver State Schools in 2023, has “has strengthened leadership, improved operational performance, expanded direct lending, increased non-interest income, and advanced strategic partnerships with Clark County School District and the UNLV Alumni Association,” the credit union said in a statement. 

Ramirez previously served as chief experience officer and has more than 34 years of financial services experience, including positions with USC Credit Union, F&A Federal Credit Union, Arrowhead Credit Union, and other industry organizations.

“I am deeply honored to be named president and CEO of Silver State Schools Credit Union,” Ramirez said in a statement on LinkedIn. “I am excited for the opportunity to lead this remarkable organization and work alongside an exceptional team as we continue creating opportunities that strengthen the lives of our member owners as well as the communities we proudly serve.”
