COLUMBIA, Mo.–Members of Missouri Credit Union have voted in favor of merging into River Region Community Credit Union.
The $565.7-million Missouri CU and the $715.9-million River Region Community CU will serve approximately 80,000 members when combined.

The credit unions, which said plans are to complete merging all systems and services by Nov. 1, said their respective names will not immediately change but plans are to select a new name for the combined credit union this summer.
Missouri CU closed 2024 with $5.5 million in net income and net worth of 10.29%. River Region CCU posted $5.6-million in net income to go with net worth of 9.95% as of year-end.
No Job Losses
In a statement, River Region CCU said it has promised that no job losses will result from the company merger. Fees or rates on accounts with variable interest rates may change, but River Region said changes will be communicated in advance, it added.
