NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Carolina Trust Federal Credit Union has opened a new Executive Offices & Operations Center in Myrtle Beach, a move the credit union said will expand its operational capacity while maintaining its ties to the community where it was founded.
Carolina Trust marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new facility at 4573 Oleander Drive, according to the credit union.
Credit union employees and board members were joined by representatives of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce for the ceremony.

Investment in Future Growth
Carolina Trust President and CEO Tim Carlisle called the new center an important investment in the credit union’s future.
“As the longest-standing financial institution headquartered locally in Myrtle Beach, we are incredibly proud of the history we have built here and the community that has supported us throughout the years,” Carlisle said in a statement.
He said that while every community and member served by Carolina Trust is important to the credit union, Myrtle Beach holds particular significance because it is where the organization began.
“Maintaining that connection to our roots is an important part of who we are,” Carlisle said.
What New Facility Will Provide
According to Carlisle, the new facility will provide the infrastructure, leadership presence and operational capacity Carolina Trust needs to serve its members and communities as the organization grows.
“This new center allows us to honor that history while creating the infrastructure, leadership presence and operational capacity needed to serve our members and communities well into the future,” he said.
