SAN JOSE, Calif.–Meriwest Credit Union has launched a digital small business lending product under the brand name Meriwest Business Express.

The offering is being made through a partnership with Enable Technologies, which is providing what it said is a unified deposit and loan onboarding platform, “purpose-built for modern community financial institutions.”
The $2.1-billion Meriwest CU said it is expanding into small business services via Enable’s configurable platform, which will offer businesses a fast, seamless way to access business credit designed to support working capital needs, seasonal needs, and day-to-day operating expenses.
“Small businesses are essential to our communities, and they deserve access to financial solutions that are built around their critical needs,” MCU CEO Lisa Pesta said in a statement. “With Enable, we’re able to deliver a best-in-class borrowing experience while staying true to our commitment to personalized service.”
The First Offering
According to the credit union, the first offering under Meriwest Business Express banner is a line of credit built for small businesses that allows qualified businesses to borrow up to $50,000, with straightforward terms and a streamlined application process.
