American Eagle Financial Supports Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra

BRISTOL, Conn.–American Eagle Financial Credit Union donated more than $9,000 to the Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra as part of its “Cash Back to the Community” program.

According to American Eagle Financial Credit Union, three recipient organizations are selected each quarter to receive donations from the program, for a total of 12 each year.

The organizations are chosen based on votes from American Eagle Financial Credit Union members and the general public. The amount is determined at the end of the quarter and is based on American Eagle Financial Credit Union members’ debit and credit card usage.

Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra, a Bristol-based professional orchestra, provides classical music concerts and musical services for Connecticut communities.

The orchestra also collaborates with local schools to strengthen school music programs through performances.

The orchestra received a $9,011 check from American Eagle Financial Credit Union through the “Cash Back to the Community” program.”

“We can’t thank American Eagle Financial Credit Union and all of you who voted for us enough,” he said. “This helps us start our 2026 season planning on solid footing.”

Brown said Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra has a “special interest” in music by composers residing and working in Connecticut. He said they generally utilize Connecticut musicians as soloists and orchestra players.

Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra’s next concert will be held July 3 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Malerbo Recreation Complex Pavilion and Fields at 25 George Washington Turnpike, Burlington.

Nutmeg Symphony Orchestra Music Director and Conductor Marshall Brown said they are “thrilled” to be selected as one of the recipient organizations.
