SAGINAW, Mich.–Team One Credit Union said it will begin construction on a new 28,000-square-foot headquarters in downtown Saginaw in August.
The new three-story headquarters will include a full-service retail branch, collaborative workspaces, and a “wellness-focused environment” for employees, according to the $769-million credit union.
In addition, a 2,400-square-foot community room will host public events, financial education workshops, and civic engagement activities, Team One said.
“This new headquarters is more than a building. It’s a symbol of our promise to our members, our employees and our community,” CEO Derrick Barber said in a statement.
Community Plaza to be Built
Designed by AKA Architects and built by Ronnisch Construction Group, the new facility will maintain operations during construction, according to the credit union. The current building will be replaced by a community plaza and green space once the new headquarters is complete.
