Aldersgate FCU Placed Into Conservatorship by NCUA

MARION, Ill.– Aldersgate Federal Credit Union here has been placed into  conservatorship by NCUA. The agency said member services will continue while it “works to resolve issues affecting the credit union’s operations.”

The $10.5-million Aldersgate FCU, which has approximately 811 members, had $33,481 in net income as of March 31, with net worth of 10.17%. It had $55,019 net income at year-end 2024. 

NCUA said members may conduct financial transactions via phone by calling the NCUA Asset Management and Assistance Center. 

“Those calls will be routed to the appropriate specialists,” NCUA said. “Members can continue to conduct financial transactions, such as depositing funds, making loan payments, and requesting share withdrawals during the conservatorship.”
