RICHARDSON, Texas– Texans Credit Union has been awarded a Gold Stevie Award in the Financial Services – Company of the Year (Large) category at the 23rd Annual American Business Awards.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business recognition program, honoring organizations of all sizes and industries for their achievements in innovation, performance and leadership. This year’s competition received more than 3,600 nominations from companies nationwide, judged by a panel of over 250 industry professionals.

Texans said it was recognized for its remarkable financial and cultural transformation in the last five years. Judges cited strong performance metrics, including return on assets of 0.94% and an expense-to-asset ratio of 2.46%, both significantly outperforming industry averages in 2024.
The credit union also achieved impressive loan growth and reduced employee turnover.
Additional recognition included top workplace honors and awards for its CFO and CPO.
