Readership of The CU Daily Continues to Surge

ROCHESTER, N.Y.–Readership of the Credit Union Daily continues to surge.

Although less than six months old, the CU Daily has seen more than 120,000 unique visitors to date and is now averaging nearly 20,000 unique visitors to TheCUDaily.com every month, according to Google Analytics. The monthly readership figures have increased every month since launch.

The CU Daily has rapidly become the number-one source of reporting and news for the credit union community, and averages more than 100 pieces of new content each week. That includes approximately 15 items each day as part of the publication’s “The Latest” feature on the site, in addition to a brand new feature story every day as part of “The Lead.”

As countless readers have commented, the CU Daily breaks more major news stories than any other source in the industry, often days ahead of other publications—if they report the news at all. And the CU Daily remains free, unlike some publications in the market that cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

A Sincere Thank You

“Credit unions rightfully thank their members for their success, and the CU Daily owes its growing success to all of our readers across the credit union community,” said Cooperator-in-Chief Frank J. Diekmann. “And it’s more than just the readership. Credit union leaders have actively provided input and feedback to the CU Daily, which has only served to not just help weave the publication into the community, but made it a much more valuable resource, as well.”

All the Content

Beyond the fresh daily news reporting, the CU Daily offers other significant content resources, including:

  • The Community. The Community features ongoing updates on the types of activities and causes credit unions are supporting in their communities.
  • Opinions. The CU Daily hosts a vibrant and diverse forum for discussion and debate.
  • The HR Department. Updates on promotions and new hires across the industry.
  • The Daily Cast with Walt Laskos. These are longer interviews/videos/podcasts with a wide variety of credit union leaders.
  • The Movement in Minutes. This is a video broadcast of a synopsis of the week’s news, often hosted by guest broadcasters from across Credit Union Land.
  • The Credit Union Store. This is an online, virtual, 3-D “exhibit hall” of credit union suppliers and solutions providers.
  • The Agenda. This is the CU Daily’s calendar of meetings and events.
