PRATTVILLE, Ala.–AOD FCU has entered into an agreement to purchase a branch of Merchants & Farmers Bank of Greene County here.
Under the terms of the agreement, the $442.6-milion AOD will acquire the physical location and most of the deposit and loan accounts associated with the branch, which are approximately $15 million and $10 million, respectively, according to Olsen Palmer, LLC, which served as financial advisor to the bank.
Terms of the deal were not released.
Merchants & Farmers will continue to operate through its locations in west Alabama.
If regulators give the OK, the transaction is to be completed in the first quarter of 2026.
AOD FCU has approximately 37,660 members.
