MOSS POINT, Miss.–Singing River FCU said it is partnering with the Singing River Weight Loss Center to offer patients financing and saving options for weight loss surgeries at its accredited weight loss centers along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Through the SRFCU financing program, patients can apply for loans online to help cover the cost of bariatric surgeries, whether they choose insurance or self-pay options, according to the two organizations.
Key Benefits
Singing River FCU and the Weight Loss Center said key benefits include:
- Affordable financing: Loan and saving options tailored to individual needs and budgets can cover all or part of surgery costs, including hospital fees, anesthesia, and other eligible medical expenses.
- Insurance coverage support: Singing River Weight Loss Center accepts most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and more.
- Cash-pay options: For patients without insurance coverage, affordable self-pay packages are available, with full prepayment required prior to surgery.
The Eligible Procedures
Eligible procedures include:
- Gastric sleeve surgery
- Gastric bypass surgery
- Low-BMI sleeve surgery (BMI 30–34.9)
- Revision surgeries, including band removal and conversion procedures

The $385.7-million SRFCU has approximately 32,000 members.
