Achieva Credit Union Names David German as Chief Lending Officer

DUNEDIN, Fla.–Achieva Credit Union has named David Germann as its new chief lending officer, which it said marks an important milestone as the organization continues to expand its lending programs and serve more members across Florida.

With more than 35 years in the financial industry, Germann brings deep experience in consumer, business, and real estate lending, along with a clear vision of how credit unions can empower members and strengthen communities.

Before joining Achieva, Germann served as vice president of sales and marketing at Credit Union LIFT Fund, LLC, where he developed and executed sales and marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention, strengthen partnerships, and identify new opportunities for innovation.

He also previously held the role of CLO at Credit Union of America, overseeing consumer, business, credit card, and real estate lending programs. During his tenure, he led technology enhancements, product development, and lending policy initiatives that resulted in consistent, double-digit portfolio growth.

“David brings decades of experience leading high-performing lending teams and a genuine commitment to improving people’s financial lives to Achieva’s executive team,” said Eric Jenkins, CEO of Achieva Credit Union. “His track record of driving responsible growth, paired with his deep understanding of what members truly need, makes him the right leader to guide Achieva’s lending strategy into the future. Under Dave’s leadership, we’ll continue expanding access to credit, building innovative products, and helping more Floridians achieve their goals.”

In his new role, Germann will oversee Achieva’s lending operations across its consumer and mortgage portfolios, while collaborating closely with business lending leadership to ensure consistency and alignment across all lending programs. His immediate priorities include refining Achieva’s lending strategies, strengthening member relationships, and expanding opportunities to help members reach their financial goals.

“Achieva has built an incredible reputation for balancing financial strength with genuine community care,” said Germann. “That’s what drew me here. This is a place where people come first and where we find ways to say yes and help members thrive. I’m honored to join a team that’s not only helping people achieve their goals but also making a real difference in the communities we serve.”
