CLEARWATER, Fla. –Achieva Credit Union and the City of Clearwater said they will once again host what they called “one of Tampa Bay’s most anticipated holiday traditions,” the 2025 Achieva Clearwater Turkey Trot, to take place on Thanksgiving morning at Clearwater High School.
“For more than four decades, the Turkey Trot has been the heartbeat of Thanksgiving morning in Clearwater, drawing thousands of runners, walkers and families who kick off the holiday with a community celebration before heading home to their feasts,” the city said. “With Achieva Credit Union stepping in as the presenting partner, the event is keeping its rich tradition alive while adding even more festive fun for participants of all ages.”

Race Options
Participants of all ages and abilities can choose from three signature race options:
• 5K Timed Run — 7 a.m. start, for the more competitive runners.
• 5K Fun Run — 8 a.m. start.
• 1-Mile Gobbler Run — 9 a.m. start.
The organizations said the Fun Run and 1-Mile options allow strollers, well-behaved dogs on leashes, and offer more of a relaxed experience than that of the timed 5K run.
“Beyond the starting line, families can expect a morning packed with live music, a spirited costume contest, and a pre-race party full of games, food and entertainment,” the city said.
‘Bringing People Together’
“At Achieva, we believe in bringing people together, whether it’s through banking, education or events like this that create lasting memories,” Chief Marketing Officer David Oak said in a statement. “We’re proud to join the city of Clearwater in keeping this tradition alive, while adding new experiences that families will remember for years to come.”
