LAKE MARY, Fla.–To recognize the work done by teachers and nurses, Addition Financial Credit Union said it has wrapped up a special weeklong tour across Central Florida during which it delivered “heartfelt thanks and thoughtful surprises to those on the front lines of education and healthcare.”
From May 5 through May 9, Addition Financial said its team members stopped by local schools and hospitals in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Volusia counties, bringing picnic baskets packed with treats and goodies for lucky raffle winners.
Some locations also enjoyed the bonus of a sponsored coffee bar, serving up handcrafted drinks to help teachers and nurses power through their day, the credit union said.

“This campaign is personal for us,” Richard Barbari, director of Community engagement and partnerships at Addition Financial, said in a statement. “We were founded by a group of educators nearly 90 years ago, and it is part of who we are to stand by those who dedicate their lives serving and caring for others. This tour is just one way we can say, ‘Thank you – we appreciate everything you do.’”
