WASHINGTON–America’s Credit Unions has named a new board chair and board members.
Ahead of its Governmental Affairs Conference the trade group said Patrick Pierce, president/CEO of City & County Credit Union in St. Paul, Minn. is the organizations new chairman.
Pierce will serve a one-year term. He succeeds Brian Schools, president and CEO of Chartway Credit Union, who also helped oversee the merger with NAFCU that was completed on Jan. 1, 2024.
“I am honored to lead America’s Credit Unions Board of Directors after a monumental year of progress for our industry,” said Pierce in a statement. “2025 has started fast, with the potential for significant change for our industry, and I have full faith that (America’s Credit Unions CEO) Jim (Nussle) and his team will move the needle to ensure the credit union industry continues to thrive. As this momentum builds, I look forward to working alongside credit union leaders to ensure we are all working together to advocate for the movement we are all deeply passionate about.”
