SWEENY, Texas—An arrest has been made in connection with a shooting at a credit union that injured an employee.
As the CU Daily reported here, the employee was hit by debris from a shot that was fired at the offices of Old Ocean FCU in the 8200 block of FM 524.

The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office said it has arrested Kasey Scott Martin, 37, in connection with the shooting and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to jail records.
He was released the next day on a $25,000 surety bond, according to police. An emergency protective order also was issued and served.
Non-Life Threatening
The employee was injured while opening the credit union and the injuries were non-life threatening. Witnesses had reported seeing an older model white Ford F-150 in the area at the time of the shooting.
“A witness identified his vehicle,” a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies later linked the truck to Martin.
According to Police, Martin has no prior criminal history. No possible motive has been provided.
Worker is Electrocuted
Separately, in Salem, N.H., one person is dead and another was seriously injured from an apparent electrocution outside of Service Credit Union on North Broadway.
According to Patch.com, fire and police responded to a report of landscape workers who were seriously injured by an electric shock. Police identified the worker as Marc Glaser, 45, of Salem. The other worker was transported to Mass. General Hospital in Boston and was reportedly in stable condition.
The credit union parking lot and the Mobil station, adjacent to the credit union, were taped off, Patch.com said.
Officials said the equipment the person was on made contact with a power line while apparently trimming a tree.
