COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – With college football season now underway and the National Football League (NFL) set to kick off its season tonight when the Cowboys play the Eagles, credit unions have their names on everything from signage to playing fields to debit cards to stadiums.
Below is an overview of just some of the sports tie-ins credit unions have announced that have been reported by The Credit Union Daily. This is just a portion of the coverage that has been provided to date.
Debit Card Branded for Broncos Quarterback

DENVER–Ent Credit Union, which is the Official Banking Partner of the Denver Broncos, said it has launched a Bo Nix-branded debit card. Nix, about to start his second year, is the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos.
The credit union said the launch is timed to coincide with the start of the 2025 regular season and celebrates the star quarterback and Ent brand ambassador.
“Bo is an exciting part of the team’s future, and we’re glad to offer members a new way to show their support,” Chief Experience Officer Chris Chippindale said in a statement. “This card is a fun addition to our partnership and a unique way to help fans bank like a Bronco as the season kicks off.”
The credit union said the Bo Nix debit card builds on the success of its Broncos Checking account and debit card, which gives fans exclusive access to game-day perks and behind-the-scenes experiences.
The Perks
Ent said members who carry the Bo Nix card:
- Can enjoy 10% off concessions and merchandise at Empower Field at Mile High
- Get priority access to home game tickets, and invitations to VIP events with players and alumni.
- Throughout the season, cardholders will also receive surprise gifts like Broncos calendars, collectible magnets, and branded gear.
In addition, Ent said cardholders will also unlock access to Ent’s Swipe to Score program, where every 15 debit card transactions earn an entry to win autographed items, exclusive event access, and even a chance to win a fully paid trip to the Super Bowl on Feb. 8, 2026.
Excited to be Part of Launch
“I’m excited to be part of this launch with Ent,” said Nix in a statement. “Colorado has quickly become home for me and my wife, Izzy, and we’re grateful to work with a credit union that’s so engaged in the community. This new card is a great way to connect with fans and be part of something special in Broncos Country.”
Beyond the Field
Ent Credit Union said its partnership with the Broncos goes beyond football. Together, with the Broncos Foundation, Nix, and 2024 Defensive Player of the Year Pat Surtain II, Colorado’s leading credit union supports local nonprofits through grants, volunteerism, and fundraising efforts.
Last season alone, Ent raised $38,000 for Children’s Hospital Colorado through the Enterception program and more than $77,000 for Colorado nonprofits through member and employee sweepstakes, the credit union said.
CU Name on NFL Stadium
WASHINGTON–When the Washington Commanders season begins anew, the team will again be playing in Northwest Stadium, named for Northwest FCU.

Northwest Federal Credit Union acquired the naming rights for the Washington Commanders’ home stadium in a deal announced in August 2024, renaming the venue Northwest Stadium. The eight-year agreement extends through the 2030-31 season and is worth approximately $8 million per year, significantly more than the previous deal with FedEx.
This marks the first time a credit union has held the naming rights for an NFL stadium.
MSUFCU in Partnership With Athletic Association
EAST LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) has announced an official partnership with Collegiate, a digital banking platform created by MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU).
The partnership will also include naming rights for select MIAA championships and on-site activations throughout the year.
According to the organizations, with Collegiate, MIAA students will gain access to no-fee accounts, personalized savings tools, and mobile-first features that make managing money simple and stress-free. The partnership also includes financial literacy programming developed by certified financial educators, tailored to the unique challenges student-athletes face balancing academics, athletics, and life.
The Mizzou CU
COLUMBIA, Md.–Multipli Credit Union said it has become the official credit union of Mizzou Athletics, the athletic program at the University of Missouri, in a deal that includes naming rights to some facilities.

Multipli Credit Union said it has become, alongside Shelter Insurance and MU Health Care, one of only three Diamond Club Level Partners through a revamped Premier Partner Program.
As part of the sponsorship, the terms of which were not disclosed, Multipli Credit Union will also gain club level naming rights at both Mizzou Football’s Memorial Stadium, where the south endzone premium area formerly known as the Show Me Club will be officially renamed the Multipli Club, and Mizzou Arena, home of the Tigers’ men’s and women’s basketball teams.
In addition, Multipli Credit Union said it is committed to “significantly bolstering” Mizzou’s name, image, likeness (NIL) initiative, including through sponsored content, targeted digital campaigns, and enriching community events.
Suncoast CU in Sponsorship With the Other Football
TAMPA, Fla. — Suncoast Credit Union and the reigning Gainbridge Super League champion Tampa Bay Sun Football Club announced a new partnership that includes naming rights, charitable giving and exclusive fan benefits.
As part of the agreement, the team’s temporary home on the campus of Blake High School will be renamed Suncoast Credit Union Field during matches and events. The partnership also features a $10,000 donation to the Blake High School Boosters and a pledge of $200 for every Sun shot on goal this season at the stadium, according to the organizations.
Noble CU & Fresno State Partner
FRESNO, Calif.–Noble Credit Union said it is joining with Fresno State University’s Bulldog Foundation to help grant full-ride scholarships to two student-athletes this year, and will also host five member-exclusive tailgates ahead of football games this season.
Noble Credit Union said that its partnership with the Bulldog Foundation will also include the hosting of five member-exclusive tailgates, starting this weekend.
The home game tailgates are open to members and their immediate family; no reservation is required. Attendees will receive one meal ticket and two drink tickets per person. A Noble debit or credit card is needed for entry, the credit union said.
Visions Has a Vision for Track & Field
BINGHAMPTON, N.Y.–The $5.2-billion Visions FCU has made a “significant investment” to support the $5.6-million overhaul of the track-and-field facility near the East Gym at Binghamton University. The size of the investment was not disclosed.
The university said the space will be called the Visions Federal Credit Union Track & Field Facility.
According to the university, the improvements to the 30-year-old facility focus on completely replacing the existing track to meet NCAA regulations, renovating the long- and triple-jump event area and the pole vault area, adding lighting and safety improvements, installing a new multisport synthetic turf field at the track’s interior, updating the stands and scoreboard, and more.

EastRise Logo Appears on Field
BURLINGTON, Vt.–The logo of EastRise Credit Union now appears on Virtue Field at the University of Vermont. The field is the home of UVM men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s lacrosse teams.
As part of the enhanced partnership, EastRise will serve as the presenting sponsor of both the reigning national champion men’s soccer team and the women’s soccer program, the organizations said.
The $3-billion EastRise CU is the first corporate partner to secure on-field logo placement at Virtue Field.
As part of the partnership, EastRise will also support Catamount student success by “delivering essential financial literacy education to student athletes with a special emphasis on navigating Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) opportunities,” the organizations said.
MENTOR, Ohio– The official credit union of the Cleveland Browns is Cardinal Credit Union, which announced partnership in August 2023 and which has since collaborated on initiatives like the Lil’ Brownies Savings program to promote financial education among young fans and members.
The “Lil’ Brownies Savings program” uses a Brownie the Elf-themed debit card to teach financial basics, according to the credit union’s website.
America’s CUs, Las Vegas Raiders in Promotion
HENDERSON, Nev. – America First Credit Union and the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders have announced the winner of the 2025 Small Business Showcase: Cookie Cutters Haircuts for Kids.
As the winner, Cookie Cutters locations in the Las Vegas valley will be promoted through signage inside Allegiant Stadium, radio spots, digital marketing on the Raiders’ website and mobile app, tickets to a home game, and more through a donation from America First Credit Union.
The prize has an approximate retail value of $100,000.
FAU Athletics, Flagler CU in Partnership
BOCA RATON, Fla. — Flagler Credit Union and Florida Atlantic University Athletics have announced a Touchdowns for Charity initiative the organizations said is mean to help support the local community.
For every touchdown scored by the FAU Owls this season, Flagler Credit Union will donate $200 towards the Power of Sports, a local charity established to help overcome financial barriers to make sport more accessible.
Florida Atlantic and Flagler Credit Union signed a 15-year football stadium naming partnership in December 2024 rename the Owls’ on-campus football stadium as Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
The Power of Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to eliminating financial barriers by covering registration fees, equipment costs, and other essential needs.
“The Power of Sports believes every child deserves the opportunity to participate, fostering lifelong health and personal achievement,” the organizations said.
Navy FCU, Coast Guard in Partnership

NEW LONDON, Conn. —Navy FCU has renewed its sponsorship of the Coast Guard Academy Athletic Corp. through 2028.
Under the multi-year agreement, Navy Federal retains its designation as an Official Sponsor of Coast Guard Academy Athletics. The organizations said the renewed sponsorship includes extensive brand visibility across athletics venues, digital platforms and events.
Nusenda in Five-Year Agreement With NMSU
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Nusenda Credit Union is reporting it has entered into a five-year partnership with the athletic program of New Mexico State University.

As part of the agreement, Albuquerque-based Nusenda’s logo will appear on the football field at Aggie Memorial Stadium starting in the 2025 season.
The $4.7-billion Nusenda CU said its logo will be the first corporate sponsor logo to appear on the football field in the stadium’s history.
Rock Valley, NIU in Five-Year Deal
LOVES PARK, Ill.–Rock Valley Credit Union said it is entering into a five-year partnership with Northern Illinois University to become the exclusive credit union of NIU Athletics and the official financial literacy partner for Huskie student-athletes.
According to the organizations, fans will see the Rock Valley Credit Union logo painted on the east and west sidelines of Brigham Field throughout the length of the partnership. The RVCU logo will debut at the 2025 NIU Spring Showcase on the northeast and southwest sides of the playing field.
As part of the partnership with the Huskies, the $162.2-million RVCU’s more than 15,000 members will have opportunities to engage with NIU Athletics through exclusive experiences.
Partnership With Detroit Lions Expands
DETROIT–University of Michigan CU (UMCU), which is the official credit union of the Detroit Lions, said it has extended and expanded its partnership with the team.
The two organizations first partnered in 2018.
UMCU said it and the Lions will collaborate to continue to provide educational opportunities and unique experiences that support the community.
The credit union has teamed with Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, safety Brian Branch and cornerback Terrion Arnold to bring fans closer to the game through one-of-a-kind experiences with the players.
