HOUSTON–First Service Credit Union has launched “Bongo Youth Accounts,” which it is describing as a “dynamic new offering designed to help young members build smart money habits early in life.”
In conjunction with the launch, which was timed to coincide with back-to-school season, a limited-time Nintendo Switch 2 giveaway is also being conducted.

“Created with children and their parents in mind, the Bongo Youth Account offers an engaging way for young members to learn the basics of banking and financial wellness,” the credit union said. “It features kid-friendly tools and resources to help them understand how to manage money, track savings goals, and begin developing strong financial habits that will serve them for years to come.”
‘Life-Long Journey’
“Financial education is a lifelong journey, and it’s never too early to start,” FSCU President and CEO Dave Bleazard said in a statement. “The Bongo Youth Account makes learning about money exciting and accessible for kids, while giving parents peace of mind that their children are developing financial responsibility from the start.”
For every new Bongo Youth Account opened during the promotional period (August 1st to Oct. 31st), members will be automatically entered into the giveaway for the Switch 2.
