Carolinas CU League Rebrands Subsidary Company as Carrick Professionals

RALEIGH, N.C./COLUMBIA, S.C.–Professional League Resources (PLR), a provider of consulting and business solutions for credit unions that is a subsidiary of the Carolinas Credit Union League, announced it is rebranding to Carrick Professionals, effective June 2.

“Professionals has more than 20 years of experience supporting credit unions and industry partners with solutions spanning fractional accounting, audit, talent, shared branching, and an expansive network of solution partners,” the league stated. “This for-profit subsidiary reflects a re-envisioned focus on delivering operational and professional solutions that help credit unions and businesses stay competitive in an ever-changing marketplace.”

‘Commitment to Helping’

“We are incredibly excited to introduce Carrick Professionals to the credit union community and our valued partners,” Craig Beach, chief operating officer of Carrick Professionals, said in a statement. “This new brand embodies our commitment to helping credit unions grow and thrive, while staying true to the collaboration and excellence that has always defined our work.”

About the Name

According to the CCUL, the name Carrick Professionals draws from the league’s own history.

“Inspired by the Carrick Bend knot in the League’s logomark, it symbolizes the strength of cooperation—central to Carrick’s mission to work together with credit unions and businesses in building stronger, more sustainable futures,” the league said.

According to the league, the rebrand, developed in collaboration with Origo Branding, caps off a strategic initiative by CCUL’s leadership to “clarify the distinct missions of the League and its business services arm.”

About the Company

The league said Carrick Professionals operates under its own seven-member board, whose members are elected by the CCUL board of directors.

Brand rollout will begin in late May, with updates appearing across digital platforms and network communications.
