PINEVILLE, La.–In the latest incidents of cars crashing into credit unions, a police officer was injured.
In Louisiana, Pineville Police confirmed that an officer was hurt in a vehicle crash while responding to another crash at LA Capitol Federal Credit Union, not far from the credit union.

PPD said the officer had minor injuries from the crash, according to media reports.

Other incidents involving cars crashing into credit unions since the CU Daily’s most recent report include:
• In McCracken County, Ky., a vehicle crashed into Signet Federal Credit Union on Lone Oak Road shortly after 2 p.m. The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said Linda Hayden of Paducah lost control of her vehicle pulling into a parking spot in front of the credit union. The vehicle then jumped the curb and crashed through the exterior wall of the building. Hayden and everyone inside the building were unharmed.
• In Bloomsburg, Pa., a car crashed into the lobby of Service 1st Federal Credit Union on Route 11, forcing it to close. According to media reports, there was “significant damage to the front entrance.”
• In Baldwin, N.Y., a car slammed into a branch of Four Leaf FCU on Grand Ave. Police said the driver accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes around 10 p.m. The car hit Four Leaf Federal Credit Union’s building on Grand Ave. The driver was not hurt, and the building is structurally sound. The front door had to be boarded up.
• A truck crashed into the headquarters of Armco Credit Union.
