OSWEGO, N.Y.–Compass Federal Credit Union has announced plans to host a Member Appreciation event on August 7.
The event will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the credit union’s main office in Oswego and will be a members-only event that will be free and open to the first 250 registered members.

Those attending must register at any Compass office between July 1-25.
A catered chicken barbecue will be provided by Kristen’s Kitchen, with takeout meals available. Members must present their event ticket to receive their meal. Only one meal per ticket. Purchase will not be available at the event, the credit union said.
In addition, dessert will be provided Compass Federal.
Raffles to be Held
CFCU said several raffles will be drawn throughout the day, including an opportunity to step into the credit union’s Cash Vault, with a chance to win up to $200. Other raffle drawings will include gas cards, VISA gift cards, as well as a family four pack of tickets to the Syracuse Mets.
A 50/50 raffle will also be conducted, with proceeds going to a charity of the winner’s choice. A non-perishable food drive will also be part of the day.
Prize for New Members
In addition, new members of the credit union between July 1 and July 25 will be entered into a drawing to enter the Cash Vault as well for their own chance to win up to $200.
