MARLBOROUGH, Mass.—The Cooperative Credit Union Association has named its new board officers, added new board members and also announced its Awards of Excellence winners.
The new board officers include:
• Maurice Dawkins, Chair – American Spirit Federal Credit Union
• David Araujo, Vice Chair – Service Credit Union
• Anabela Grenier, Second Vice Chair – Pioneer Valley Federal Credit Union
• Eileen Migliozzi, Treasurer – St. Anne’s Credit Union
• Kathleen Orovitz, Secretary – Navigant Credit Union
Board Changes
Thomas Hankard, president/CEO of Beverly Municipal FCU, has been elected to the board, while Navigant CU President/CEO Kathleen Orovitz has been appointed to the CCUA Board to fill the vacancy created by Stephen White’s resignation in advance of his upcoming retirement.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to Fred Reinhardt of Greenwood Credit Union for his exceptional leadership and dedication as chair of the CCUA Board, and we warmly congratulate Maurice Dawkins of American Spirit Federal Credit Union on his election as our new chair,” CCUA President/CEO Ron McLean said in a statement. “We also thank Ron Draper and Stephen White for their years of valued service and contributions to the CCUA Board. With Maurice’s leadership, the addition of Kathleen Orovitz and Tom Hankard to the board, and the continued collaboration of our dedicated directors, we will build on our strong foundation and advance the collective success of credit unions across our four states.”

• CEO of the Year: Devon Lyon – Central One Federal Credit Union
• Volunteer of the Year: Donald “Lee” Irish – Franklin First Federal Credit Union
• Theresa Palumbo – Lighthouse Credit Union
• Professional of the Year: Nancy L. Zeppa – Rhode Island Credit Union
• Young Professional of the Year: David Fielding – Metro Credit Union
• Hall of Fame: Karen Duffy – Worcester Credit Union
