WICHITA, Kan.–Credit Union of America’s 19th Annual Charity Golf Classic raised $50,200 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) at Ascension Via Christi.
The event was held at Crestview Country Club and served as the official kickoff to the Wichita Open, one of the Korn Ferry Tour’s premier stops featuring top professional golfers.
Since its inception, the CUA’s tournament has raised more than $876,000 to benefit Kansas children and families facing the challenges of childhood illness and injury.
This year’s event featured a special appearance by Harper, a CMNH Miracle Child, whose story highlighted the direct and personal impact of the funds raised.
During the event, CUA revealed that the tournament will be renamed the Credit Union of America Bob Thurman Memorial Golf Classic beginning in 2026. This tribute honors the legacy of former CUA CEO Bob Thurman, who founded the tournament and championed its mission to support CMNH and the families it serves.
