MADISON, Wis.–The 2025 CUES Awards & Recognition program is now open for nominations, offering an “opportunity to spotlight the leaders who are shaping the future of the credit union industry.”
“CUES Awards are a meaningful way to celebrate those who go above and beyond to make a difference,” SVP/Chief Sales & Member Relations Officer Dawn Abely said in a statement. “We’re looking for outstanding nominees who have made the credit union community stronger through their leadership, innovation, and commitment.”

Nominations and applications for this year’s awards will be accepted now through June 13 in three categories:
John Pembroke Catalyst for Change Award
This is an organization-wide award recognizing a credit union for creating a welcoming, supportive work environment and bringing positive change to the industry, the workplace, and the community, CUES said.
CUES Outstanding Chief Executive Award

This award singles out the credit union CEO who best exemplifies professional achievement, supports employee motivation, and shows unwavering dedication to their community, according to CUES.
CUES Distinguished Director Award
The award honors the credit union board or committee member who has provided exceptional service or whose achievements have strengthened their credit union and/or the industry.
“All CUES members are encouraged to participate in the nominating process,” Abely said in a statement. “This is an opportunity to ensure that those who inspire excellence and embody the core values of the credit union movement receive the recognition they deserve.”
