WASHINGTON–Following a regional luncheon hosted by the Defense Credit Union Counciland its partner, Allied Solutions, with more than a dozen CU CEOs from New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, DCUC said plans have been launched for an “Interstate Sub-Council.”
DCUC said the special event offered credit unions from across the Northeast a new opportunity to collaborate on key priorities and challenges, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing the credit union mission and strengthening the impact on members and local communities.
Pressing Forward
“DCUC continues to press forward in ensuring stronger representation for our members nationally, overseas, and, as this luncheon signifies, regionally,” DCUC President and CEO Anthony Hernandez said in a statement. “Together with our strategic partners, we’re building greater access, value, and support across the entire credit union movement.”
DCUC reported its regional representation continues to grow with five regional sub-councils spanning across 49 states & 20 countries: the Overseas Sub-Council, the Hawaii Sub-Council, the Midwest Sub-Council, the Texas Sub-Council, and the Northwest Sub-Council.
