TUSCULUM, Tenn.— The baseball field at Tusculum University will now be called the “Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park” after ECU and the Greeneville Flyboys agreed to a five-year naming rights partnership.
Terms of the deal were not released.

According to the Flyboys, a summer collegiate baseball team in the Appalachian League, playing at Pioneer Park in Greeneville, Tenn., the Tusculum Pioneers’ and Flyboys’ home field will take its new name starting with the 2026 Appalachian League season. The ballpark itself will remain Pioneer Park, the organization said.
Pioneer Park was constructed in 2004 for Tusculum baseball and a former Minor League Baseball team, the Greeneville Astros, according to the release. Boyd Sports took over the operation of Greeneville baseball in 2018 with the Greeneville Reds and continued with the creation of the Greeneville Flyboys in 2021.
“This partnership builds on our long-standing relationship with Eastman Credit Union and the Greeneville Flyboys,” Tusculum Vice President of Athletics, Josh Ealy said in a statement. “As one of the premier baseball facilities in the Southeast, Eastman Credit Union Field at Pioneer Park provides an ideal setting to further enhance the experience for both our fans and student-athletes.”
Bringing Community Together
Added ECU President and CEO Kelly Price in a statement, “We are proud to sponsor the Greeneville Flyboys Stadium, a place that brings our community together and creates lasting memories for families and fans alike. This partnership reflects our deep commitment to Greene County and our belief in fostering opportunities that strengthen community spirit while supporting local economic growth.”
According to the Flyboys, Pioneer Park can fit more than 5,000 fans and is the only ballpark in the Appalachian League with luxury suites.
