Envisant to Host Series of Webinars on Stablecoins, Payments

NAPERVILLE, Ill.–Envisant, a unit of the Illinois Credit Union League, will host a series of webinars on stablecoins as well as a separate webinar on payments.

The three-part webinar series “Stablecoins & the Future of Credit Unions,” which will be led by Dr. Lamont Black, will be held March 10, March 17 and April 7, respectively. 

“Stablecoins are moving rapidly from the margins of crypto into the core of the financial system—and credit union leaders need to understand what that means,” Envisant said. “This three-part webinar series is designed for executives, board members, and senior leaders who want a clear, practical understanding of stablecoins without the technical jargon.”

What Will be Learned

The company said participants will learn what stablecoins are, why they are increasingly viewed as financial infrastructure, how they could reshape the payments landscape, and what steps credit unions should consider next.

Webinar on Payments

Separately, Envisant will host a webinar titled, “The Future of Payments – What’s Real, What’s Hype, and What’s at Risk” on March 18 at 2 p.m. ET.
