DEER PARK, Texas–Shell Federal Credit Union and its Furthering Community Unity (FCU) Team are reporting they have successful Everyone’s Gotta Eat Food Drive by delivering meaningful support to local food pantries and pet shelters ahead of the high-demand summer season.
By joining forces with local schools and leveraging support across Shell FCU’s 14-branch network, the Everyone’s Gotta Eat campaign continues to grow each year to meet real needs in real time for both people and pets throughout Shell FCU’s communities, according to the credit union.

This annual initiative is strategically held each May to help replenish community food supplies before the end of the school year, when many children and families lose access to regular meal programs and increasingly rely on local food resources. “Recognizing this critical need, Shell FCU’s 2025 food drive made a meaningful impact with nearly 1,400 items donated,” the credit union said. “The success of the effort was made possible through the compassion and generosity of Shell FCU members, employees, and five partnering schools: Landolt Elementary, Mae Smythe Elementary, Bailey Elementary, North Shore Elementary, and La Porte Elementary.
“Our goal each May is to provide vital resources before the summer gap begins,” said a representative of the FCU Team. “Then, as we move into August, we’re proud to circle back and support these same schools and community groups through our Supplies for Students drive, ensuring students head back to class with the tools they need to succeed.”
Donations were organized and delivered by the FCU Team to trusted nonprofit organizations, including North Channel Assistance Ministries, Pasadena Community Ministries, Bay Area Basic Needs Center, and Templo Bautista De Habla Hispana. After all—Everyone’s Gotta E
