BURBANK, Calif.–Farmers Insurance Federal Credit Union has introduced a Zero-Fee Checking account it said is designed to give everyone a simple, secure, low-cost way to manage their money.
“This new checking account has no monthly maintenance fees, no overdraft fees, and no minimum balance requirement—providing a truly stress-free banking experience for FIGFCU’s current and future members,” the credit union said in a statement, adding that other standard service fees may apply for certain optional services such as stop-payment requests, wire transfers, or using a non-network ATM.

The $1.33-billion FIGFCU said the Zero-Fee Checking account offers:
- No monthly maintenance fees
- No overdraft fees
- No minimum balance requirements
- Free access to Tulee, the Credit Union’s online and digital banking tools
- Free checks
- Free Visa Debit Card
- Use of more than 30,000 fee-free in-network ATMs
