BOCA RATON, Fla.— Flagler Credit Union and Florida Atlantic University Athletics have announced a Touchdowns for Charity initiative aimed at supporting the local community.
For every touchdown scored by the FAU Owls this season, Flagler Credit Union will donate $200 to the Power of Sports, a local charity established to help overcome financial barriers to make sports more accessible.
Florida Atlantic and Flagler Credit Union signed a 15-year football stadium naming partnership in December 2024 to rename the Owls’ on-campus football stadium as Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
The Power of Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to eliminating financial barriers by covering registration fees, equipment costs and other essential needs.
“The Power of Sports believes every child deserves the opportunity to participate, fostering lifelong health and personal achievement,” the organizations said.
Flagler Credit Union is a division of Michigan-based Dort Financial Credit Union.
