LAKEWOOD, Colo.–For members looking to borrow to make changes in their homes, a new analysis has ranked the 25 small-scale DIY home improvement projects with the highest ROI’s.

The report, from Ace Handyman Services, calculated and excluded large-scale projects such as additions and full remodels, to focus on simple things a homeowner could either do themselves or hire a handyman to do.
To calculate the return on investment, Ace said it took the average resale value added by each project and divided it by the average job cost, then expressed the result as a percentage.
