INDIANAPOLIS–FORUM Credit Union is marking its 85th Anniversary with a year-long series of promotions and events it said are designed to thank its members and invite new friends to “share in the celebration.”
Founded on Dec. 7, 1941, as Hoosier Federal Credit Union by employees of the Indiana Bell Telephone Company, FORUM said it has a rich history rooted in service and innovation. It changed its name to FORUM name on May 1, 2000, after expanding its field of membership.

“Over 85 years, FORUM has grown from a small, volunteer-led cooperative into a technologically advanced, not-for-profit financial institution, now proudly serving more than 164,000 members and helping them achieve their financial dreams,” FORUM CU said.

The 85th Anniversary Celebration kicked off in January and will continue throughout 2026, featuring monthly drawings for members, FOCUM said. All entries from January through December will be eligible for the grand prize drawing on December 7th, when one winner will receive $850.
Additionally, members can enjoy exclusive monthly branch offers, such as opening a new certificate or checking account and receiving $50, according to FORUM.
