OAK CREEK, Wis.–Guardian Credit Union (GCU) has named Steve Heiderer as its new president and CEO. Heiderer had previously served as SVP/COO with the credit union and has been with Guardian Cu for 17 years.
Heiderer began his career with the credit union as a compliance officer directly after law school.
He was recognized by BizTimes as a Notable Credit Union Leader in 2025.
The $286-millioon Guardian Credit Union has approximately 25,500 members.
