HARTFORD, Conn.– Hartford Federal Credit Union has named James Kane as its new SVP-operations. In this role, Kane will lead the credit union’s day-to-day operational functions, including branch operations, compliance, marketing, business development, and member services, while working closely with executive leadership to drive strategic growth.
With a proven track record in operational excellence and a member-focused mindset, Kane brings the experience and vision needed to support Hartford FCU’s continued success as a safe, financially sound credit union serving the communities of Hartford, Middlesex, and Tolland counties.

Kane is a seasoned operations leader with over 15 years of experience improving performance, streamlining processes, and elevating customer experience across the banking industry. He holds an MBA with a focus in management from the University of Hartford, bringing both strategic insight and practical expertise to every challenge. Known for his people-first leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement,
