GOLDEN, Colo.—In a product branding worth raising a toast to, On Tap Credit Union, which began its life as Coors Credit Union, said it is “raising the bar” on checking accounts with the launch of its new Interest Premier Account, or “I.P.A. Checking.”

The account combines competitive interest with built-in protections and discounts to deliver more value and peace of mind for members, according to the $415-million On Tap CU.
“This account is about protection and everyday value, helping members feel more secure and supported while enjoying meaningful perks,” the credit union said in a statement. “Designed for those who want more from their everyday banking, I.P.A. Checking goes beyond traditional accounts by offering a blend of savings, convenience, and security benefits.”
Key Features of I.P.A. Checking
According to On Tap CU, key features of I.P.A. Checking include:
- Competitive Interest & ATM Refunds. “Earn higher interest when simple requirements are met, plus receive up to $20 in monthly ATM fee refunds.”
