WINDSOR, Ontario–The Easter Bunny will again be taking to the air and Easter eggs will once again be raining down from above for local children, thanks to WFCU Credit Union.
The credit union said that after a successful first year, it is again joining with the Town of Lasalle, Ontario to hold the Egg Drop event. In all, some 25,000 Easter eggs will be dropped from a helicopter, and children aged 2-10 will be able to collect them and exchange them for chocolate and other goodies.
The event will be held April 19 at the Vollmer Complex, where the Easter Bunny will also be on hand.
‘Fun for Families
“We wanted to offer local families a fun, outdoor activity to participate in that would delight children and provide a memorable experience for all,” WFCU President and CEO Eddie Francis said in a statement. “We’re proud to be a part of this special time of year in Windsor-Essex County and are excited to bring this magical event back to the community.”
More than 800 children registered for the event last year, with reservations filling in just five days.
