June Edition of Educational Tool for Board Members is Sent to Subscribers

ROGERS, Ark.–The June edition of the excellent new education resource for credit union board members has now been sent to subscribers.

Credit unions that want to ensure their boards continue to meet educational requirements and to develop the sklls needed to oversee ongoing growth should contact Frank J. Diekmann at Frank@TheCUDaily to either renew their subscriptions or start a new one.

The CU Board Brief has been designed to meet directors’ educational requirements by informing them of big picture issues taking place in credit unions and financial services and to provide potential discussion points in the board room, while not overwhelming readers with too much information.

The Credit Union Board Brief features approximately one-dozen paragraph-length descriptions of issues that deserve attention, with a link to the full story for more details.

The monthly update was developed in conjunction with attendees at Rochdale’s Volunteer Leadership Institute andis based on their feedback.

Some 13 news items are featured in the June issue, plus, as part of a monthly feature on governance issues, Rochdale offers its insights on matters of importance on how boards can most effectively function.

Costs & Information

The cost of the CU Board Brief is just $799 per year, and that’s for the entire board, not per person. Discounts are also available to credit unions that belong to a number of organizations. For info or to receive a copy of the April issue, contact Frank J. Diekmann at [email protected].
