Keesler FCU Joins With NFL’s Saints on Kicks for Kids Program

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Saints and Keesler Federal Credit Union have launched the second season of the Kicks for Kids program, which donates $1,000 for every field goal made during the regular season.

This year, donations will go to the New Orleans Women and Children’s Shelter, the region’s largest homeless shelter for intact families.

“Keesler Federal is proud to support the work Women & Children’s Shelter of New Orleans does to help families struggling through homelessness,” said Andrew Swoger, CEO and president.

Shelter CEO Dawn Bradley-Fletcher said the program’s support helps families achieve lasting stability. “In the past two decades, NOWCS has worked to break the cycle of homelessness for over 4,700 parents and children across the region, with less than 2% ever returning,” she said.

Saints kicker Blake Grupe made 27 field goals on 31 attempts in the 2024 season, helping Keesler Federal donate $27,000 last year to Covenant House New Orleans.
