WEST CHESTER, Ohio–Kemba Credit Union has selected Velera to provide it with debit and credit card processing services and support.
The $1.7-billion KCU has more than 130,000 members and 14 branches across Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.
When selecting a card processing partner, Kemba prioritized organizations that shared its member-first philosophy and understood its strategic goals, according to Velera, which said that following a comprehensive evaluation process, Kemba chose the company based on its seamless integration capabilities and alignment with the “people helping people” credit union philosophy.

‘Partner Who Can Grow’
“Above all, we wanted a partner that could grow with and alongside us,” Kemba CEO Dan Sutton said in a statement. “We are confident Velera’s card processing services will help us deliver more flexibility, choice and control to our members, while also advancing our long-term organizational goals.”
Velera said it will begin providing debit and credit processing support to Kemba in August 2026.
